Here they nest in anything that is on or close to the house. Hanging flower baskets are favorite spots. My husband wanted to display his father and grandfathers coalmining hard hats and hung them on the wall under the porch for his workshop. It took no time and the little brown wrens had moved in. There is a little gentleman at our local flea market that is making a killing off of little bird houses made out of old wood fence boards and attached to a stake that when hammered into the flower bed close to the house are a perfect home for little brown house wrens. I hope yours has a warm place to nest. I have also had them nest in my straw beach hat that I was still using and hung on the wall of my back porch. <br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05021646997602704344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-754870187951078170.post-30536450437895919752012-09-26T17:20:56.469-04:002012-09-26T17:20:56.469-04:00what kind of bird is itwhat kind of bird is itAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15032119093925735934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-754870187951078170.post-49049797775894607602011-11-07T13:55:24.439-05:002011-11-07T13:55:24.439-05:00Beautiful photographs!
